Tattoo enthusiasts were in for a treat this past weekend as the Las Cruces Convention Center hosted Tattoo Tour’s annual exhibition.  For three days straight, fellow artists and vendors alike had the opportunity to meet with each other, showcasing work, products, and shop portfolios all while giving live tattoos to enthusiastic attendees.

The event, which featured over 100 artists, proved to be a resounding success for the city of Las Cruces, drawing in a steady flow of potential clients for all three days of the show.  In addition to getting tattoos, attendees could purchase all sorts of products, ranging from shop-specific clothing to body jewelry to custom-designed inks.  While waiting for appointments, the show floor was encompassed in the music of live DJs, pumping their upbeat rhythms and custom mixes all through the convention center halls.  Raffles were being held randomly throughout the weekend as well, with the lucky winners taking home clothing, food packages, and televisions.

Kito Talbert, one of the contestants from season 6 of Spike’s Ink Master, was one of the featured artists during the weekend exhibition.  Local artists also had the ability to share the lime light, with the winner of “Best Large Color”, “Best Of Day” for two days in a row, and “Best Of Show” going to none other than Jimmy Sauceda (Irish Ink Tattoo).  Other guest artists included Kiara Mia (adult film star) and Mr. Capone-e (rapper).
