Membership with the New Mexico Museum of Space History
Every year, the New Mexico Museum of Space History celebrates the 4th of July in style with a Fireworks Extravaganza. The magnitude of this event calls upon the combined efforts of the International Space Hall of Fame Foundation, New Mexico State University, and the City of Alamogordo. The annual membership drive takes place at the same time with members visiting from all over the US. So, is it worthwhile to become a member?
What Kind of Membership Is It?
To begin with, it helps to know exactly what kind of membership you’re purchasing. The membership is specifically for the New Mexico Museum of Space History and the International Space Hall of Fame Foundation. Your membership dues support the programs and exhibitions of the New Mexico Museum of Space History. Yet your membership is for much more because it extends to free entry to over 200 Association of Science-Technology Centers locations. Your membership could save you hundreds in admission fees alone. You can also get discounts for the gift shop and summer programs, free admission to planetarium shows, and special invitations to events.
How Much Does Membership Cost?
The savings of your membership will be remarkable. For the most basic membership for one person, the cost is only $35 per year. Family memberships are $75 per year. These include free entry for two adults and any number of children under the age of 18. There are also premium memberships available at the Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels, and these come with Smithsonian Benefits.
