Southern New Mexico State Fair & Rodeo
The first week after the official beginning of fall delivering cooler days, pleasant evenings, pumpkin harvests, and the annual Southern New Mexico State Fair. Bringing with it five full days of music, food, and the sounds of elated screams and cheers rising into the cool air. Dia De Muertos Art Festival
Celebrate New Mexico heritage, loved ones and the continuation of life after death on the border of New Mexico and Mexico at this year's Dia De Muertos Art Festival! Featuring an Arts & Crafts Fair, Performance Showcase, Ballet Folklorico, Mariachi Jam Session, Costume Competition, Ofrenda Decorating Competition, and an Interactive Art Exhibition. A Festival With Purpose: Proceeds from the event benefit Play Sharity. Play Sharity opens Children's Museums and lending libraries in low-income communities.
