DESCRIPTION:The Ninth Judicial District Attorney Andrea Reeb is proud to announce the 3rd Annual Color Dash to benefit the Hartley House. Join us on June 1\, 2019 at Hillcrest Park for a colorful and exciting event the whole family will enjoy. This year the event will kick off at the Hillcrest Zoo parking lot by the AYSO Soccer Fields. With over 300 pounds of color and even more runners this year\, this is one event you do not want to miss! \nFAQs\nWhat time do I need to be there?\nThe gates will open at 8:00am and the run will begin at 9:15am. Early online registration will help with expedited check in process\, however we do recommend getting there as soon as possible to avoid delays. \nAre Pets Allowed?\nPlease leave your furry friends at home due to the possibility of law enforcement animals being present. \nAre there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?\nWhile there are no age limitations\, any walkers or runners of all ages will be required to purchase an event pass. Parents who choose to push their child in a stroller will not be required to pay for the child in the stroller. However\, parents are responsible for properly protecting their child from exposure to the powder. Although the color powder is non-toxic\, we suggest you protect from the possibility of powder landing inside the stroller to avoid excess inhalation or direct contact with eyes. \nWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?\nThere will be plenty of parking available at the Hillcrest Zoo parking lot by the AYSO soccer fields. That is where the event will begin this year. \nWhat can I bring into the event?\nWe will have lawn blowers there to blow excess powder off of runners as they’re leaving.
