DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Taking place during migrations each November\, the annual Festival of the Cranes offers something for everyone: from backyard birders to bird experts\, from amateur photographers to pros.  The Festival highlights the world-renowned Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge\, one of the most spectacular national wildlife refuges in North America. Activities include refuge tours; bird\, biology\, geology and art workshops; keynote speakers; and much more. \nThis year’s festival offers 156 event sessions in 6 days. An online Festival catalog is available via the PDF file. Pre-registration for events sessions is required\, with registration starting on September 5 for members. Non-member registration starts September 6th. Become a Friends member and register early on September 5th.
