DESCRIPTION:Home Is Where the Art Is! The Albuquerque Latin Dance Fest returns to its roots. This year\, the festival will highlight all that New Mexico has\, all that it does\, and all that it is. ABQ LDF humbly invites you to join them in celebrating Albuquerque’s local music\, dance\, and community. \nThis four-day rhythm and movement celebration feature’s live performances by world-class dancers as well as non-competitive dance showcases\, parties\, and workshops. Additional attractions include dance films and lectures. Saturday night will feature four of Albuquerque’s favorite Salsa/Latin bands on one stage: Calle 66\, Charanga del Valle\, Ivon Ulibarri & Cafe Mocha and Son Como Son with a special surprise. \nFor those of you who desire to learn to dance to these varied exotic rhythms\, Albuquerque Latin Dance Festival\, Aug 23 thru 26\, offers multifaceted workshops in many Latin dance styles. If you feel a bit intimidated but would love an opportunity for learning\, a beginner’s only Salsa Dance Bootcamp is a great way to peek into and experience the very exciting world of Latin dancing. Albuquerque Latin Dance Festival is a very complete event which not only brings the community together with food and drink but offers an opportunity for local and out of town dancers\, musicians\, artists\, performers\, instructors to express and share with all their most developed gifts!
