Hatch Valley Chile Festival
Every year at the tail end of summer, the Village of Hatch New Mexico celebrates their chile harvest with a two day festival over labor day weekend. The Hatch Valley Chile Festival treats visitors by offering samples of chile recipes, horseshoe games, chile ristra contests, artisan foods, and a carnival.

Oktoberfest at Brandenburg Park
The annual Oktoberfest at Brandenburg Park is Red River, New Mexico's main event of the fall season. Come to the Dia de Los Muertos celebration on October 27th through the 29th and the Dia de Los Muertos procession on November 2nd starting at 6pm. This age old tradition has deep roots in the Las Cruces community and is one known for its Calavera (or "Sugar Skull") costumes, dance performances, and traditional procession.
